Web design · relaunch without loss
Reconstruction, not a fresh start.
We rebuild your website – content and links move across with it.
Binding price · typically 5–8 weeks to the switch.
Does this sound familiar?
Is your website more than five years old and barely usable on a phone? Then a relaunch is due – without losing your content.
What the relaunch includes.
- Inventory analysisURL inventory and content audit
- Redirect planEvery old address gets a destination
- New designBuilt on what works
- Content taken over and revisedNot blindly copied
- Switch on a set dateWith a backup and a checklist
- 14 days of monitoringRedirects, errors, availability
- Before/after reportWith real figures
Live in four steps.
The relaunch process that protects your content.
So nothing is lost in the move:
- Step 1
Inventory
We record every address in the URL inventory. A Content audit decides page by page: keep, merge or remove.
- Step 2
Redirect mapping: no address runs into nothing
Every old URL gets a permanent redirect. You see the table before the switchover.
- Step 3
Switchover with a safety net
We check redirects, links, forms and load times in advance. We only switch over when everything is green.
- Step 4
14 days of monitoring
Afterwards we check for 404 errors and redirects. Follow-up fixes are included in the binding price.
To check for yourself: our relaunch checklist.
How to tell that it is time.
If two or more points apply, a relaunch almost always pays off:
- Unusable on mobile: On a phone, people zoom and search – with over 60 % mobile use.
- Load time over 3 seconds: Visitors leave before they see anything.
- No enquiries through the website: There is no clear route to an enquiry.
- Content cannot be maintained: Every text change needs a service provider.
- The website no longer suits the company: It still tells the old story.
In the free consultation we tell you whether a relaunch is needed – or whether targeted improvements are enough.
Three ways in, depending on scope.
The inventory makes a relaunch somewhat more work than a new site. We clarify which level fits in the consultation.

Website relaunch – what clients ask us.
Do existing links and content get lost in the relaunch?
Not if the relaunch is done cleanly. Links run into nothing when old URLs disappear or content is deleted without replacement. Our process prevents exactly that: a complete URL inventory before the start, a permanent redirect for every old address, preservation of the content that works today – and 14 days of monitoring after the switch.
How long does a website relaunch take?
Typically 5–8 weeks, depending on the scope of the existing website. The inventory at the start needs more care in a relaunch than in a new build – in exchange the design often goes faster, because content and positioning already exist.
What happens to our old content?
In the content audit every existing page is assigned to one of three categories: keep and improve, merge, or remove deliberately with a redirect. Nothing disappears uncontrolled – least of all the pages that bring you enquiries today.
Can we keep parts of the old design?
If it serves the goal, yes. Usually we keep proven structures and replace the looks – or the other way round. The relaunch is no end in itself: what demonstrably works we touch only with good reason.
Do we need new copy?
In most cases partly. Copy that sells stays. Copy that only describes we rewrite – from the customer's view, with a clear next step. The exact scope we settle in the draft.
What does a website relaunch cost?
As with a new build we work with binding prices by scope. A relaunch with clean content migration usually lies between €4,000 and €12,000 because of the inventory. Through our quote form you get a concrete figure within one working day.
